Barbera from the Asti region tends to show a bit more acidity compared to Barbera from Alba. In addition to the added freshness, the 2015 Barbera d'Asti Battaglione also delivers more pronounced body and structure. This is a centered and complete red wine with fruity succulence followed by dark flavors of blackberry, dark cherry and toasted nut. The wine was aged in neutral barrique.
