Note: two-thirds of this is from 65+ year old vines and the other third is from 10+ year old vines

Tasting note: A much more restrained nose is composed of notes of relatively high-toned red berry fruit, floral and softly spicy aromas that are also trimmed in just enough wood to merit mentioning. The notably finer and more mineral-inflected if less powerful middle weight flavors possess an almost lacy mouth feel while delivering excellent depth and length on the balanced and classy finale.
