More herbal and earthy, with lots of black fruits and dark chocolate, the 2015 The Spell Binder is plump, medium to full-bodied, and forward on the palate, with impressive purity and length. Made from 46% Cabernet Sauvignon, 33% Merlot and 21% Cabernet Franc, it's another terrific wine from this estate, as well as a great value.
One of my favorite estates in Walla Walla is unquestionably Trey Busch's and Jerry Solomon's Sleight of Hand. They're aided by Keith Johnson, who joined the team in 2011. These are gorgeous Washington State wines that has tons of fruit and texture, as well as balance, purity and freshness. In addition, they're good values as well. I love the wines. - Jeb Dunnuck, The Wine Advocate
"This wine is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Aromas of sweet blue fruit, herb and spice are followed by plump, plush plum flavors that go down easy. It brings a sense of deliciousness." - Wine Enthusiast
