There is both superb intensity and excellent mid-palate density to the complex, sappy and beautifully persistent finale where a touch of bitter lemon rind slowly emerges. This too is lovely. From the lieux-dits Nampoillon and Les Closeaux, Once again, the nose is firmly reduced. By contrast, there is excellent cut and intensity to the more mineral-driven flavors that possess solid mid-palate density while displaying fine depth and persistence on the youthfully austere finale.
