Wein-Erbhof Stein Riesling Weihwasser Feinherb 2016 (750ML)

Off-dry Riesling from one of the best small producers of the Mosel. Stein has a PhD in Biology and lives in a hotel filled with Bohemian types who love wine. Riesling is king in the Mosel and this is an exceptional example of the intense minerality the valley can produce in its wines. It doesn't drink sweet, rather balanced with the intense acidity innate to the grapes. The importer dubbed this wine Weihwasser after trying it, meaning holy water.
