(9% alcohol): Bright straw. High-pitched, complex nose offers energetic orange, nectarine and floral scents. Lively citrus and pit fruit flavors are given depth by a melony quality and a hint of floral honey. Picks up a touch of ginger on a long, spicy finish of very good clarity. - Josh Raynolds, Vinous Media
The 2012 Brilliant Disguise Moscato has an enticing floral/grapey nose, revealing aromas of roses, apricots and poached pears. Light bodied and at just 9% alcohol, it offers some sweetness in the mouth but is not overly sweet as some Moscatos can be with a good frisky amount of spritz, racy acid and a long finish.
