The NV Brut Grand Cru is 100% Chardonnay from Avize, Oger and Cramant. Bright and sizzling in the glass, the Grand Cru captures the essence of the Cotes des Blancs in its chiseled personality. Disgorged in September 2019 with 10 grams per liter dosage, the new release of Varnier-Fannière's NV Brut Grand Cru opens in the glass with notes of citrus oil, green apple, white flowers and pastry cream that only hints at the complexity to come with more time on cork. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, pure and nicely defined, with a fleshy core of fruit, a delicate pinpoint mousse and an attractively mineral finish. - William Kelley, Wine Advocate

Made in a seemingly old school style with a ten gram per liter dosage, the Varnier Fannier Grand Cru Brut Blanc de Blancs NV has classic aromas of orchard fruit, brioche and hints of chalk.
