Aromas of blueberries and wild herbs, as well as raspberries and a complex, spicy and fragrant edge. Blood orange and pomegranate here, too. The palate is smoothly emulsified and has red-cherry, raspberry, orange and blood-orange flavors. Pithy kick on the finish and plenty of concentration. Very resolved. 100 days on skins. From a 0.8ha block of 820 bush vines planted in 1889. Left on skins for 100 days after fermentation giving gorgeous velvety texture to the mid-weight, flowing palate that shows macerated strawberries, stalky cranberry, provençal herbs and perfumed musky incense. A really gorgeous wine that's hitting it's stride now. The 10 months in hogsheads just rounds the whole – this is all fruit.-Tina Gellie, Decanter

From 130 year old vines, this Grenache offers an enticing, intriguing perfume of strawberries still on their stems, cut flowers in water, vanilla bean and florals. The mid-weight palate is starting to show some bottle age, with slightly cooked red berry jam flavors, but there's still a lick of juicy freshness and a tannic tug.-Christina Pickard, Wine Enthusiast

Mid crimson. Gorgeous nose. Quite burgundian in style, wonderfully done. Tannins are velvety and appealing. I wish the lovely savoury fruit lasted a bit longer.-Florencia Gomez, JancisRobinson
