The Bergere family has a long-standing heritage in Fèrebrianges, having owned vineyards since 1848, and they prioritize the development of their expertise and the passing on of their traditions. As artisans of the terroir, they emphasize sustainable and eco-friendly practices, carefully tending to each vineyard plot to produce exceptional grapes. Their winemaking process features minimal intervention, allowing the unique character of each plot to be reflected in their fine Champagne wines. During harvest, they meticulously manage the grape pressing and fermentation phases to ensure the highest quality through either spontaneous or assisted fermentation. Finally, their blending process is conducted with great care and precision, resulting in wines that showcase their passion and dedication to craftsmanship.
Adrien Bergère joined his parents and sister on the estate in 2014 as winemaker after obtaining his diploma in oenology. He arrived with the desire to further enhance his family’s terroirs and showcase the richness of the Vallée du Petit Morin. To achieve this, he immediately began to vinify all the parcels separately to better understand the diversity of his terroir and isolate the best parcels.
