Astonishing purity and youthful freshness, the white-peach, Asian-pear and candied Amalfi-lemon aromas incredibly vivid. Super-focused, medium-bodied palate with staggering vitality and energy. This is very concentrated, but the refreshing acidity makes it feel so light on its feet. Then comes the diamond-bright minerality at the finish. Surely the best white wine from this producer to date! Made from vines planted in 2005. Drink or hold. 20th Anniversary Berlin Tasting Event, February 2024.=James Suckling
The 2022 Chardonnay Las Pizarra was cultivated on slate soils overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Aged for 12 months in French oak barrels, 20% new, this yellow-green wine delivers enticing aromas of green apple, ginger and cedar, complemented by acacia, nard and lime notes. Lean, refreshing and taut, its elevated acidity and vibrant mouthfeel create a uniquely nervy yet creamy texture. This is a stunning coastal Chardonnay with a nod to Burgundy. Coastal terroirs, when planted with high-quality grape material, offer a renewed expression of Chile's potential for high-end whites—this wine is a remarkable example.-Joaquin Hidalgo, Vinous Media
A superb Chardonay from Chile, combines a rich texture with a tight stone fruit core, juicy white peach and pear set against sage spice, gunsmoke and white flower aromatics, love it. Sliced green-topped strawberries with flowers, nettles, stems and orange peel. Medium- to full-bodied with firm tannins that run the length of the wine, with underlying hibiscus and orange blossoms. Crunchy tannins with a stony texture. Excellent energy. Serious. Needs two or three years to come around.-James Suckling
The 2022 Pinot Noir Las Pizarras, fermented with whole clusters, was aged for 12 months in French oak barrels (25% new). Cherry-red in hue, it exudes aromas of herbs, sour cherry and pink peppercorn, underscored by hints of rose and sweet bread. Dry, compact and refreshing, it glides gracefully across the palate with delicate vibrancy. This is a rare Pinot Noir that encapsulates the coastal character in its entirety. In the impressive Errázuriz Vineyard, planted in Quillota with views of the Pacific Ocean, a collection of massal and clonal Pinot Noir plots thrive in shallow slate soils. The climate, influenced by cool sea breezes and sunny evenings, imparts a unique concentration and balance to the grapes.-Joaquin Hidalgo, Vinous Media

Sour black cherries, violets and a touch of peppercorns and chaparral. Really fresh and crunchy with al-dente fruit and tannins on the medium-bodied palate. Freshness is the key here, and there seems to be more fruit in this vintage. Drinkable now, but better from 2025.-James Suckling
The 2022 Syrah Las Pizarras originates from a coastal vineyard nestled in the granite soils of the Coastal Range, approximately 13km from the ocean. Fermented with 7% whole clusters and aged for 12 months (60% in French oak barrels and 40% in foudres), this purple-hued wine reveals enticing aromas of blueberry, blackberry, violet and black pepper, intertwined with a profound balsamic layer that enhances its intensity. Lean and juicy, it boasts a vibrant mouthfeel and heightened acidity, leading to a silky, concentrated and agile flow. This is a Syrah worth exploring.-Joaquin Hidalgo, Vinous Media
