Pale primrose, less reductive. The fruit expands gorgeously on the palate, as well as the nose, very expressive and absolutely fruit driven. No bananas, plenty of ripe citrus fruit, plenty of stones. Textbook Corton-Charlemagne from a sunny vintage. Tasted: October 2020—Jasper Morris, Inside Burgundy
Just over one hectare in Chardonnay, purchased in 2004, on south-facing slopes in Corton Pougets. This is truly a regal style of wine, from lightly crushed fruit run into cask with most of its lees for fermentation, aged a year before racking and then a further four to six months maturation. This is truly grand cru in style - rich and lush, with still-smoky, spicy ripe fruit on the nose, lovely density and a massive finish. Drinking Window 2024 – 2039—Charles Curtis MW, Decanter
Tasting note: Elegant, cool and ripe aromas are comprised by notes of green fruit, apple, acacia and lemongrass. The racy mineral-driven flavors are also sleek and beautifully delineated on the youthfully austere finale that is sneaky long. This tautly muscular effort isn't especially dense, but it is well-balanced and offers very good development potential.—Allen Meadows, Burghound

Tasting note: This too is moderately reduced though it's possible to discern that the underlying fruit is ripe. The bigger, richer and more concentrated medium-bodied flavors flash impressive power on the youthfully austere, serious and compact finale that makes clear that it is built-to-age and in need of at least some patience. Worth a look. Outstanding. Allen Meadows. Burghound
There are two distinct parts to the de Montille holding in Porusots: the upper part in sandy, loamy soils and the lower part with a south-east exposition that can ripen a bit too quickly, so is always picked early. The result is a wine with tropical aromas that are enlivened on the palate by fresh acidity. This is a rich mouthful of wine, but not one that is out of balance. Drinking Window 2024 – 2039. –Charles Curtis MW, Decanter
From the upper part. Pale lime and lemon. After a lean and discreet bouquet, the wine starts to fill out on the palate, racier behind yet still with a good broad basis of white fruit. Some length Tasted: October 2020—Jasper Morris Inside Burgundy

A half-hectare acquired by the Château de Puligny-Montrachet from Charton in 1993, in a couple separate parcels, all near Chevalier. The wine is rich and spicy, with aromas of ripe apple and citrus on the attack, then marzipan and butter on the palate. The texture is broad but still balanced by fresh acidity that carries this to a beautiful, lingering finish. Drinking Window 2024 - 2039—Charles Curtis MW, Decanter
Pale primrose. Lovely dense aromatic nose, very good weight of full, more white than yellow, fruit, with waves of flavour across the palate. I love the balance of this wine albeit in its richer style, with a very satisfying long finish. Tasted: October 2020—Jasper Morris, Inside Burgundy
The 2019 Puligny-Montrachet Let Folatières 1er Cru comes from a single plot of vines and is matured in 30% new oak. This sports a very subtle reduction, allowing the mineral-rich citric fruit to shine. Plenty of energy on the aromatics, and they translate across to the palate. Very well balanced with impressive nerve, this fans out wonderfully. Touches of spice linger in the mouth. Very classy. -- Neal Martin, Vinous Media
Tasting note: Hints of lactic and residual secondary fermentation aromas should clean up once this is prepared for the bottling. On the palate the plump, round and delicious middle weight flavors that flash good minerality on the balanced and palate coating finale. This is awkward but my projected range assumes that it will harmonize once in bottle.—Allen Meadows, Burghound

Tasting note: Just as was the case with this wine in 750 ml format (see herein), there is absolutely no bricking to the deep ruby color. This is still almost completely primary with only a touch of secondary to the very ripe yet fresh aromas of dark berry fruit, earth, spice and violet scents. There is outstanding concentration to the intense, precise and notably mineral-suffused medium weight plus flavors that pack ample power and punch on the very firm and impressively lingering finish. This is still the better part of 10 years away from its peak and will certainly last much longer. In sum, ample patience required, even at more than 25+ years of age. In a word, brilliant. Tasting note: Incredibly dense black fruit of remarkable complexity gives way to what may be the most concentrated mid-palate of the entire range with spicy, pure, deep, broad, indeed almost masculine flavors that possess absolutely stunning length. A great Taillepieds in the making and while the tannins are abundant and prominent, they are also fine. In short, this is a real stunner of a wine that should age for years and may very well be the Taillepieds of the vintage. Outstanding. -Allen Meadows, Burghound
Good bright, deep red. Restrained but very ripe aromas of cherry, leather and truffle. Densely packed and superripe, with considerable power. This struck me as '47-like from barrel a year ago, and I have the same impression today. Finishes hugely tannic and palate-staining. This will age for a long time. -Stephen Tanzer, Vinous Media
