In celebration of Veuve Clicquotâ€™s 250th anniversary in 2023, this exceptional Limited Edition Vintage 2002 cuvÃ©e pays tribute to Madame Clicquot, inventor of the first vintage Champagne in 1810. The wine celebrates the Houseâ€™s art of aging after prolonged time on the lees and a recent disgorgement in 2019. To showcase its specific signature of aging, the 2002 is presented only in large formats, 1.5 and 3 Liter.

This cuvÃ©e matured on its lees for over 15 years and benefited from a recent disgorgement in 2019 to give the wine aromatic richness. The long aging in our cellars, called â€˜CrayÃ¨res,â€™ gives it a silky and generous texture.

The blend was made using 60% pinot noir, 33% chardonnay, and 7% pinot meunier, crafted exclusively from Grands & Premiers Crus. The pinot noir gives the blend strength, body, and a generous richness; the chardonnay lends an expressive balance. - Winery
