Aubaine is a new project from Andy Lytle of Lytle-Barnett and Winemaker Isabelle Meunier of Lavinea. Planted in 2015, this young vineyard's debut is a strong one. It's impeccably balanced with pinpoint citrus and tree fruits, crisp and tangy acidity, a touch (20%) of new oak and a long finish that wakes up the taste buds. --PG, Wine Enthusiast
White peach, spiced apple, flint, butterscotch and lime zest on the nose. It’s medium-to full-bodied with a buttery yet fresh palate. Salted butter and limes on the long finish. Drink now.—James Suckling

Lots of cherries, raspberries and spiced plums on the nose with cloves, rosemary and savory, earthy undertones. It’s medium-bodied with fine tannins and a fleshy texture. Flavorful, spicy finish. Drink or hold.—James Suckling
This fresh and fragrant wine is one of three in the debut vintage of Aubaine. The expressive bouquet brings lavender, baking spices, raspberry and a touch of rosemary. The wine gathers itself in a compact midpalate with tangy flavors of mixed berries. Such forward fruit is not uncommon in a new vineyard (this was planted in 2015), but rarely is it so nicely textured. PG, Wine Enthusiast

Aromas of baked blueberries, brambleberries, pine cones, crushed shells and rosemary. Some chocolate orange, too. It’s medium-bodied with fine-grained tannins and bright acidity. Fragrant and vibrant with excellent length. Drink or hold. James Suckling
This Pinot is ripe, rich and substantial, with cranberry and raspberry fruit in abundance. Having been given a six-day cold soak, the wine gains a bit of chewy texture without turning too herbal. It wraps up with savory highlights and a long, toasty, balanced finish. PG, Wine Enthusiast
