Call it "Rosé", or "Rosato", or just a lovely glass of pink. It’s the perfect way to toast the end of the day for porch wine with friends, or a warm spring backyard cookout. And while the perception is that you have to drink these bottles young, if they are lively and bright with acidity they will last many years!

The 2022 Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo seduces with its perfumed blend of crushed cherries and strawberries, complemented by rhubarb, violets and sweet smoke. It's racy and sleek, built on energy, with a mineral core that grips the palate. A cascade of wild berries is excited by tantalizing acidity. This finishes dramatically long, lightly structured and full of zesty tension as salty nuances combine with tart red fruits and hints of sour citrus. The 2022 takes Cerasuolo to a whole new level. Made in barrel using slightly older wood after direct pressing of the grapes. A gorgeous salmon pink. An awful lot of stuffing on the nose, this really impresses. Given the density of the red wines, it is no surprise that there is plenty of fruit intensity here. A fine long finish, there is plenty to love about this wine.
