Tasting note: An equally fresh if less expressive nose combines perfumed and really very pretty notes of earth, violet and dark currant. There is a beguiling richness to the nicely voluminous and caressing medium weight flavors that exude evident salinity on the sneaky long and youthfully austere finale. This too is worth considering. Bottled in mid November. A pretty and fresh mid purple, with some limestone energy to the nose. Mostly destemmed. There is a good weighty fruit on the palate, with a fresh finish. Plums and dark cherries, but staying fresh throughout. Drink from 2025-2027. Tasted: November 2022.—Jasper Morris
