The 2017 Vosne-Romanée Village comes from two parcels: Les Réas and Rivière, next to Arnaux-Lachaux’s winery. The well-defined bouquet features blackberry, raspberry and light earthy aromas. The palate is medium-bodied with slightly chalky tannins. This is already very tensile with fine energy, tapering a little toward the finish but leaving behind an attractive black cherry and bilberry aftertaste. A blend of two lieux-dits, Réas and Rivière, the 2017 Vosne-Romanée Village reveals aromas of smoky cherries and incense, followed by a medium to full-bodied, ample palate with a succulent core of fruit and fine-grained structuring tannins.
