Pale colour but with a very classy nose. Lots of stones here, more apparent than the flesh of the vintage. Same pleasing finish without quintessential grip. Nicely saline. Attractive finish, very nice. Tasted: November 2019.—Jasper Morris, Inside Burgundy
Tasting note: Notes of petrol, citrus, pear and a whiff of tangerine peel combine to serve as a pretty introduction to the round, delicious and relatively forward flavors that possess a succulent mouthfeel where the richness is offset by an agreeably dry and persistent saline-inflected finish. This isn't a classic example of a steely Caillerets but rather one that should drink well young and repay a few years of cellaring too. Outstanding.—Allen Meadows, Burghound
