A cooler if slightly less complex nose offers up smoky aromas of green apple, white fruit and, once again, plenty of citrus elements. The powerful and dense flavors are blessed with so much dry extract that there is a borderline chewy texture; indeed this is almost tannic and it's clear that in contrast to so many 2015 whites, this is going to require extended cellaring. In short, this is a great Corton-Charlemagne. - Allen Meadows, Burghound
Full yellow color; darker than the Bâtard. Chalky yet deeply pitched aromas of apricot, smoky minerality and earth, with some oak showing. Rich, ripe and large-scaled but with strong acidity giving the orange oil, brown spice and mineral flavors a penetrating quality. A distinctly tannic style of 2015, this wine conveys an impression of silexfirmness. Finishes with surprising acidity and a touch of salinity. This wine will need time in bottle to gain in pliancy but should be outstanding. - Stephen Tanzer, Vinous Media
Subtle nose, impeccably fresh but lacking the nutty complexity normally associated with the appellation. Having said that, there is an incredibly dense palate and long, concentrated fruit which should age for a long time. Judging from their other 2015s, this will be magnificent - but it needs time to get there. - Jancis Robinson
