The 2021 Chablis Vau de Vey 1er Cru, which had already been bottled, has a very expressive limestone and flinty bouquet, one of the most terroir expressive amongst this range. The palate is fresh with plenty of energy and has good balance and acidity; palpable ginger and Lemongrass notes are fizzing about the finish. This is a great Vau de Vey and should give drinking pleasure for 12-15 years. Neal Martin, Vinous Media

Tasting note: Notes of oyster shell, quinine, green fruit and citrus rind precede the bigger and more powerful flavors that exhibit fine length on the slightly firmer and more austere finish.
