Tasting note: Bright and fresh aromas include those of white peach, lemon confit, floral and mineral reduction nuances. The super-sleek and muscular middleweight plus flavors are powerful if not quite as dense while possessing a beguiling, even classy, texture as well as ample minerality that adds a sense of lift to the moderately dry but not really austere finale. In tank to bottle later in the month. Mid lemon colour. The fine quality of the 2021 Blanchots is immediately apparent on the nose. A touch of youthful bitterness, clean pure fresh plum flavours on the palate with a mineral thread. Excellent fruit acid balance, this is very promising. Drink from 2026-2033. Tasted: December 2022.
