Tasting note: A fresh combination is comprised by smoky green apple, orange peel and pear essence. Here too there is fine mid-palate density to the beautifully textured flavors that brim with dry extract that also serves to buffer the moderately firm acid spine supporting the impressively long and notably dry but not really austere finale. This is lovely and a wine that should also be approachable after 2 to 4 years of keeping while having the ability to reward up to a decade of keeping. Outstanding. –Allen Meadows, Burghound

Very concentrated, with a pronounced aroma of ripe apricot and chamomile. The texture is rich, but there is enough acidity to ensure balance, and a silky texture that suggests great finesse. This shows great potential even in its youth, but should open well with time in the bottle. This 0.6ha parcel high on the slope is planted in very thin soils that suffer greatly in drought conditions, lowering yields by more than 50%. Fermentation was done in a combination of tank and barrel to preserve freshness.--Charles Curtis MW, Decanter
