The 2021 Marsannay Clos du Roy marries the natural tension of the year with good depth. Dark red cherry/plum fruit, spice, leather, smoke and blood orange all meld together. Give this year or two to soften. It’s a very promising wine from Galeyrand. - Antonio Galloni

Estimated as 40 year old vines. A fuller purple with an exuberant classic ripe pinot nose, raspberry with some strawberry and then the telling white pepper.
