Lurid ruby-red. Sexy, mineral- and smoke-accented red fruit liqueur and potpourri aromas are complemented by suggestions of licorice and cola. Sweet, seamless and spicy on the palate, offering raspberry and cherry-vanilla flavors that become livelier with aeration. Whiffs of smoked nut and dark chocolate accent primary, intensely ripe black cherry and plum in this wine. It's juicy and hedonistic, but shaded by hints of granite and earth. Deep ruby. A powerfully scented, complex bouquet displays mineral-accented boysenberry, cherry liqueur, licorice and smoky mineral aromas that expand and become spicier with air.
