A solid center palate of green apples and lemons with some stones. Full-bodied and layered with beautiful fruit and length. Tangy at the end. - James Suckling
Good quality, with lilting acidities. Seems to have stepped away from the slate-heavy slightly reductive style of Olivier in recent years (I may be in the minority to miss it), showcasing fleshy citrus and lemongrass flavours, cut through with precise spice and freshly cut herbs. The 2020 Olivier Blanc has a straightforward bouquet with lemon rind and pineapple scents, missing the tension of some of the better dry whites in this vintage. The palate is taut and linear, quite fresh, with better tension than its showing in barrel but just a bit lean on the finish. Fine. - Neal Martin, Vinous Media
