The village-level Saint-Aubin from PYCM is a perfect introduction to his style, and to the 2020 vintage. It is seductively aromatic and rich, with pronounced notes of apricot, beeswax and cream, along with an edge of smoky reductive notes on the initial attack. The texture is lush, with ripe fruit held in check by balanced acidity and loads of extract. This wine is already reasonably accessible but should hold up to mid-term ageing at least. It is produced from a blend of vines from throughout the village.--Charles Curtis MW, Decanter
