Great sense of concentration and vibrancy with acidity that is marked for the vintage and the oak well integrated. Extremely vibrant, dark fruited this year, damson, shot through with very fine tannins. I thought the 2019 Gigondas was gorgeous, with a rich, medium to full-bodied, concentrated style as well as classic Saint Cosme ground pepper, mineral, cured meats, and assorted red and black fruits.
