Tasting note: Moderately generous wood can be found on the otherwise ripe and well-layered aromas of dark cherry, raspberry, spice and discreet earth nuances. The very rich and full-bodied and powerful larger-scaled flavors are admirably concentrated before terminating in a firmly extracted and slightly raspy if impressively long finale. This is more Morey than Chambolle in 2018 and a wine that will need at least some forbearance. Outstanding – Allen Meadows – Burghound

The 2018 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Sentiers Vieilles Vignes, Sigaut's emblematic bottling, has turned out nicely, wafting from the glass with notes of cherries, cassis, cocoa nib and warm spices. Medium to full-bodied, deep and concentrated, with velvety tannins and a fleshy core of fruit, it's a rich, ripe Sentiers that will drink well young. William Kelley – The Wine Advocate
