Aubai Mema "Liverna" Vin de Pays d'Oc 2012

"70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Grenache, 20% Merlot. Organic and Biodynamic.  The Liverna valley is on the outskirts of Aubais, and it is where the vineyards are located. Ninety three million years ago it was the sea bed. Today it is a fertile valley bordered by rocky outcrops of wooded hills and terraces.

Aubais is a medieval village south of Nimes, in the Languedoc. In the past the villagers were proud to say that they were from Aubais itself ('Aubai Mema' in Provençal) not just the surrounding county." -Winery
