The NV Brut Rosé Majeur is also outstanding and offers a slightly exotic style in its floral, spicy, raspberry-scented aromas. This medium-bodied Champagne has sharp acidity, solid balance, and a clean, lengthy finish. Give bottles a year. The blend is 50% Chardonnay, 40% Pinot Noir, and the balance Pinot Meunier, all of which spent three years on lees. - Jeb Dunnuck
Bright orange-pink. Fresh strawberry and tangerine on the lively floral nose and in the mouth. Spicy and incisive, with sappy red fruit and rose pastille flavors underscored by juicy acidity and a subtle chalky nuance. A mineral element adds bite to the finish, which hangs on with strong tenacity and repeating floral character. Six percent of the Pinot Noir component in this blend is in the form of still Pinot Noir from vineyards in the Montagne de Reims. Josh Raynolds, Vinous Media
Light-weight and delicate, yet with a dry profile framing strawberry, cherry and red currant flavors. There's grip, but also a harmony that continues into the lingering finish. Drink now through 2011. 8,330 cases made. Bruce Sanderson, Wine Spectator
