The 2010 Barbara Fores Blanc is a blend of 95% Garnacha Blanca and 5% Viognier fermented and aged in stainless steel. It is a smooth-textured, round, mouth-filling offering with aromas and flavors of mineral, nutmeg, peach, and bee's wax. In the glass it opens to reveal ample savory fruit with lively acidity and impeccable balance. It is an outstanding value for drinking over the next 3-4 years. - Jay Miller
