The 2020 Bastor-Lamontagne has a pale lemon-gold color and slowly emerging scents of lime blossoms, lemon tart and fresh grapefruit, plus hints of oyster shell and paraffin wax, with a waft of marzipan. The palate is packed with concentrated citrus flavors with a crisp backbone and long minerally/earthy finish. - Lisa Perrotti-Brown, Wine Advocate
The 2020 Bastor-Lamontagne is airy, gracious and quite attractive. Gentle hints of tangerine oil, marzipan, mint and yellow flowers open effortlessly in the glass. This smells of Sauvignon Blanc – or might it be less-than-fully-ripe Sémillon? Much mention of botrytis in the tech spec but I can't see any on the nose. Fresh, very sweet pear-juice impression on the palate but relatively simple. - Jancis Robinson
