The 2020s are paler than the 2021s, and the colors show a little more advanced, like the wines are aging at a faster pace. The 2020 Garnacha de Viña Bonita shows unusually evolved, with a more oxidative profile. It's pale and delicate, with 14% alcohol and a more southern sensation (à la Châteauneuf) than this wine usually is, more delicate and vertical. The palate shows better; it's balanced, with refined tannins and mellow acidity. Perhaps the bottle was not really representative of the wine? 1,500 bottles were filled in May 2022.--Luis Gutiérrez, The WIne Advocate

Viña Bonita is an 80 year old vineyard on the top of the hill of the property at 700 m. Its soil is a thin layer of compacted granite; cultivators frequently scratch the bedrock. The parcel covers 2.8 hectares, and its planting density is 2,200 vines per hectare.
Vinification takes place in wooden tanks. Bernabeleva Viña Bonita has the longest maceration of all our wines. Malolactic fermentation takes place in 225 l French oak barriques, where the wine remains as long as necessary.
