The 2016 Chablis 1er Cru Côte de Léchet Reserve wafts from the glass with notes of pastry cream, blanched almonds, green apple, white flowers and iodine. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, glossy and textural, with excellent cut and concentration in this challenging vintage. The vines for this cuvée are almost 50 years old, and half of it is matured in wood, including a couple of new barrels every year. William Kelley – The Wine Advocate
