Tasting note: A vaguely exotic character suffuses the aromas of dried yellow fruit, tidal pool and soft floral, petrol and oak whiffs. The vibrant and borderline delicate middle weight flavors possess a highly sophisticated mouth feel before concluding in a super-saline finish where notes of bitter lemon and wood surface. This too is really very good while offering excellent depth and persistence. Allen Meadows - Burghound
The 2017 Chablis Grand Cru Vaudésir bursts from the glass with scents of orchard fruit, citrus blossom and orange rind. On the palate, it's full-bodied, lavish and enveloping, with a satiny attack, a fleshy core and succulent acids, concluding with a saline finish. Clay in the vineyard evidently informs its gourmand, textural profile.
