From low trained vines in Concoeur, bottled at the end of July. Not much frosted, but mange-bourgeon caterpillars did damage instead. Quite a deep colour, quite a full texture on the palate with darker fruit and a little new oak (barrels used here to spare the 1ers Crus). Quite a dark pinot in style. Drink from 2024-2026. Tasted: November 2022.-Jasper Morris, Inside Burgundy
