The domaine owns 3 plots, one pulled out in 2016, the other two dating back to 1986 and 1977. The soil gets more clay and darker as you head north into Puligny. Bright crisp fresh, appealing. A great weight of sweet ripe perfumed peachy fruit but I find this better balanced than the Criots. This works. Tasted: November 2019 –Jasper Morris, Inside Burgundy
Broad and creamy, this white features peach, apple, stone and wet earth aromas and flavors, backed by lively acidity. Long and expansive, with a finish that goes on and on. The oak is well-integrated, leaving a hint of baking spices in the aftertaste. Best from 2023 through 2030. 139 cases made, 40 cases imported. — BS, Wine Spectator
Tasting note: Once again a highly restrained nose is largely dominated by reductive notes though it is clear that the fruit is ripe. Otherwise there is a lovely sense of refinement to the sleek, intense and concentrated medium weight flavors that possess fine depth and persistence on the citrus-tinged finale. This more energetic effort should reward up to a decade of cellaring, yet it's not so tightly wound that it could not be approached after 5-ish years of cellaring. 2028+. –Allen Meadows, Burghound
