Tasting note: A slightly riper if perhaps slightly less elegant nose features aromas of red and blue pinot fruit that also display a plethora of floral elements. There is fine volume and richness to the punchy yet caressing medium-bodied flavors that possess outstanding precision on the lingering if slightly strict mineral-driven finish. This will need at least a few years to flesh out as it may well be too austere for some as it is now.--Allen Meadows, Burghound
