Sweet black cherry, bilberry and cassis fruits from the first moments, this has impressive stucture and is well built, with a slow build to the tannins as it opens through the palate. Spiced black chocolate and slate on the finish, ticks all the Left Bank boxes, closes down on the finish where the concentration threatens to overwhelm, but a clear sign that this is a vintage worth your time.
