Lots of dark chocolate, berry and mineral character here. Full body, chewy tannins and a flavorful finish. Juicy and delicious already but needs a few years of bottle age to soften the tannins. 100% merlot from old vines. - James Suckling
Their luxury cuvee, the 2012 Prima, is 100% Merlot. This is a fleshier, more opulently textured, medium to full-bodied wine with loads of cassis, kirsch, licorice and spice. It is plump, round, generous and could easily pass for a top-notch Pomerol in a blind tasting. This is juicy, well-endowed stuff that should drink nicely for 7-10 years. A sleeper of the vintage.
