This is deep and flavorful with spiced plums and currants as well as notes of dark spices and bark. Dark chocolate, too. Medium- to full-bodied with a juicy palate and ripe, supple tannins. Polished and chocolaty finish. Attractive now, but will benefit from aging. Try after 2025. - James Suckling
Dark purple and ripe and scented. Surprisingly plush and juicy, loaded with creamy blackcurrant fruit and vanilla toast. Throat-warming finish. Quite seductive, although I suspect the alcohol is quite high. It will be ready to drink relatively early and easy to love.
