Fragrant and refined, this compelling red has aromas of woodland berry, ground pepper, camphor and tilled earth. Full-bodied and structured, the youthfully tense palate features ripe red cherry, pomegranate, star anise and ground nutmeg. The wine opens with a very expressive and charming raspberry coulis nose. The palate is soft and generous, showing charm rather than power. There are red berry fruits, white pepper, fennel, and fresh potting soil, with a cedar wood accent to the finish.- Decanter World Wine Awards
