Absolutely unique! Boundless dates, raisins, orange peel and apricot preserve bask in saffron spice, with a lusciously syrupy texture and divine concentration which is beautifully counterbalanced with a searing spine of acidity. Immaculately conceived and timeless. - Decanter World Wine Awards
The most gorgeous orange/bright amber colour in the glass and bottle, which comes in the 375ml format and in a wooden presentation box. Thick and viscous - clearly rich and decadent from the pour alone even before the sweet nectar hits the tongue and cheeks giving density and layers of apricot, citrus, orange skin, almonds, toffee candy, caramel, honeycomb and white chocolate but all the while remaining so fruity and lively. Really very filling in terms of texture as you’d expect which such high residual sugar and low alcohol, covers the entire mouth with excellent depth of flavour but what really sets this apart is the freshness, lift and energy that accompanies the structure. Freshness combines with the toffee appels, caramel and orange marmalade giving a shiny and bright ending that makes you want another sip. It’s hard to explain but there’s a sense of joy in the purity and sense of life to this. Stunning. Estate owned and managed by Jean-Louis and Ronan LABORDE of Château Clinet in Pomerol. - Georgina Hindle, Decanter
This unctuous, mouthcoating dessert wine finds nice counterpoint and graceful balance thanks to deftly meshed, rapierlike acidity, with the plush palate showing a beautiful range of blood orange coulis, jasmine tea pearl, apricot tart, green fig and spring blossom flavors. Long, lush and well-spiced on the rich finish. Furmint, Hárslevelü, Muscat and Zéta. Drink now through 2040. 133 cases made, 16 cases imported. - Alison Napjus, Wine Spectator
Grape composition: 40% Furmint, 52% Zéta, 8% Yellow Muscat
