A blend of 90% Tibouren and 10% Grenache, all matured in ancient barrels (some are over 100 years old), the 2022 Cotes de Provence Rose Tibouren Cuvee Tradition evokes aromas of tangerine, exotic fruits, rose petal, lychee, sweet spices, thyme, ginger and a delicate touch of licorice. Medium to full-bodied, with a succulent entry, the wine is perfectly balanced, fleshy and juicy on the palate, with a long, salty, mouthwatering finish. This well-made, forward, balanced beauty will drink well all summer long and much more.

This 17th-century estate in the Maures hills overlooking Toulon is the bastion of the Tibouren grape, a grape variety that was ravaged by phylloxera. At Clos Cibonne, the Tibouren grape predominates in rosé-making, bringing a very distinctive style with garrigue and pepper aromas. The terroir is composed of gravel, clay and limestone soils.
