Plenty of fresh fruit with lychee and white-pineapple character. Medium body. Attractive, dense center palate. - James Suckling
Rich apricot and citrus curd aromatics, a ton of rich succulent fruits and vanilla bean wash. A yield of 22hl/ha. 35% new oak. The concentration makes things a little overly sweet but the signature of the estate is here in spaces, and it is an enjoyable wine. Harvest September 14 -18. Tasted twice. - Jane Anson, Decanter
The 2020 Clos Marsalette Blanc was tasted twice, I felt the first bottle, poured at the château, was out of shape. The second is fresher on the nose with crisp Granny Smith apples, pear and hints of orange blossom. The palate is well-balanced with a fine thread of acidity. Not complex and maybe just missing a bit of nuance on the finish. However, there is fine weight here, and it should drink well for 8-10 years. - Neal Martin, Vinous Media
