Colgin Jubilation 2019 (750ML)

Colgin is one of the reference points for just what heights mountain-grown Cabernet Sauvignon, Bordeaux varietals, and more recently, Syrah, can achieve in Napa Valley. –Robert Parker

The 2019 Jubilation is Colgin’s newest bottling, a small production mix of young vine and mature holdings across their hillside sites that was formerly reserved for club members only (and as such isn’t reviewed critically). The Colgin hallmarks of perfumed freshness and minerality are present in spades, but the Cabernet’s barrel aging emphasizes earlier drinking than the Grand Vin wines, making it as close to a ready-to-drink bottling as you’ll find from Napa Valley’s cult stars.
