Couhins Lurton Blanc 2020 (750ML)

Very perfumed with violet and blackcurrant aromas. Medium-to full-bodied with firm, lightly chewy tannins that are polished and refined. Pretty and poised. May be better than 2019 and 2018. - James Suckling

The 2020 Couhins-Lurton Blanc is very similar to how I found it in barrel with perhaps those peach skin aromas slightly heightened compared to before. As I said - a crowd pleaser. The palate is well balanced, here the tropical notes toned down a notch and less spicy on the finish. Perhaps I was hoping for a little more density and drive on the finish, delicious, but not as long-term as I envisaged.  - Neal Martin, Vinous Media
