Great aromatics, lively and expressive on the nose. Fun, forward and bright on the palate, sharp and tense, tangy and racy, I really like this expression, crisp green apple, chamomile, pear and peach. Feels clean and well worked, crystalline with purity and focus. Not as weighty as some, but an excellent, streamlined, focused and quite linear style with supreme bite and tang. Very attractive aromas of freshly cut pears, ginger and spicy lemons follow through to a medium-bodied palate with searing acidity and vivid fruit. White pepper on the palate, too. An energetic and structured white. - James Suckling

The 2022 Couhins-Lurton Blanc is 100% Sauvignon Blanc, with a yield of only 17 hl/ha due to frosts. It prances out with gregarious notes of white peaches, fresh pineapple, and lime blossoms with hints of sea spray and coriander seed.
