The 2015 Echézeaux Grand Cru is superb, wafting from the glass with a youthful bouquet of red cherry, raspberry, espresso, lapsang tea, game bird, licorice and wood smoke. On the palate, the wine is broad, full-bodied and multidimensional, with juicy acids, velvety tannins and a long, sappy finish. This is a beautifully balanced Echézeaux, understated but full of substance, from vines planted in 1902, 1940 and 1945. WK – The Wine Advocate
