Domaine Alary Cairanne L'Estevenas 2018 (750ML)

Normally a 50-50 blend of Grenache and Syrah, the 2018 Cairanne L'Estevenas continues the successful run for this cuvée, even though it might be more like 60% Syrah. The volume produced was about half of normal. It combines peppery-herbal notes with violets and blueberries on the nose, then adds raspberries on the medium to full-bodied palate. Supple and almost creamy in texture, it finishes with terrific length and vitality. Tasted twice (once blind), with consistent notes. JC – The Wine Advocate
