Domaine Collotte Chambolle-Musigny Cuvee Vieilles Vignes 2019 (750ML)
Critic Scores, Reviews & Descriptions
This is ripe, with a slight cooked feel to the cherry, blackberry and blueberry aromas and flavors. Starts out pliable, firming up as the dense tannins sweep in on the finish. Best from 2026 through 2045. 25 cases imported. — BS
Domaine de Collotte covers 17 hectares, mainly in Marsannay with small parcels in Fixin, Chambolle Musigny and Gevrey Chambertin. The Collotte family is related to Fougeray to Beauclair whom most Burgundy enthusiasts are well familiar.
Tating notes: Look for more bright red fruit alongside herbal notes on the silky palate which has lightness but lovely concentration. It features crisp and balanced acidity and minerality. An elegant, velvety finish.
